A substantial 55g, 63cm hand-knotted necklace featuring freeform carved amethyst nuggets, secured by a marked Chinese Export gilded silver filigree box clasp.
HO Note: these beads feel lush in the hand – the best feeling amethyst piece i’ve held. Chinese Export Silver marked clasp. hand knotted on silk, looks to be hand carved and could potentially be art deco period given the nugget style of amethyst was popular at the time, as was silk knotting which was replaced by nylon over time.
