Japanese “Millefiori” Tombo Bead Necklace

A vintage necklace featuring a vibrant Japanese Tombodama glass cylinder bead with polychrome floral motifs which is typical of the millefiori lampwork style. The focal bead is flanked by smaller accent beads and suspended on a dark coated chain.

HO Note: This is a fine example of Japanese Millefiori – hard to compare with Venetian Millefiori as they are quite different, more petite. Hope this one doesn’t sell so it remains in my collection.
