A mid-20th century Italian necklace featuring lamp-worked Venetian glass ‘fiorato’ beads with floral and aventurine decoration. HO Note: Stunning Murano example of Wedding Cake beads with raised patterning that we see around the Art Deco period – the artistry and talent of the glassmakers in breathtaking here. This piece shows patina and I suspect rt Deco > early mid-century. Love the accent beads too which shine nicely under UV.
